If Superman knows what his enemies have and how many there are and CIS is off he wins, flies high, uses HV to brun Metropolis *blabla.

Else with a little prep, the Team stomps him, in a normal comic scenario. Metallo just has to keep him distracted for some seconds and the others will get enough K into tange do weaken him and finally kill him.

People tend to forget that superman is'nt dumb and that with CIS/PIS of he can and will either destroy or remove kryptonite from a safe distance.

500 meters are enough for kal to destroy kryptonite and then its a massacre.
