Just like Odin won hands down.

Odin sort of, like, won. Just saying.

I like how he failed to mention that Thanos used the "force block" which was tech based.

I get that you're just trying to move the discussion away from the fact that Odin was standing over Thanos at the end of the fight, but you're not nearly subtle enough for that to work
My discussion was never at that subject to begin with, so try again

Gungnir "focuses" Odin's power, it does not "increase" it.

Odin was doing fine before using Gungnir. Gungnir is part of Odin's wargear, just as Thanos has his pointy shoulder-pads and shields, (which were probably the only reason Thanos didn't end up as a pile of purple ashes) by the way.

If anything, the use of Gungnir probably hastened Thanos' trip to his knees and that's all.

Thanos never used his shields, stop talking shit

Every time I read one of your posts, I get this picture in my head of a large, sweaty guy in a white tank-top, swiggin' beer, yelling at kids and kicking a dog.

Am I close? 🙂

Oops! My bad. I was thinking about me!

Anyway, you are probably right. Since placing Odin in the force-block didn't work, it wouldn't have saved Thanos as a "defense" either. He would have realized that, since he is Thanos, and channeled all of his power into his attacks.

But, that didn't help either.

Plus we see no visual representation of shields.

Showing isn't just preferable to telling, it is also preferable to not giving the readers a hint of what was going on at all. So why assume there were shields?

Has Zeus fought Zuras?

Actually, I do think Odin is over Zeus. I do think Thanos might have a shot at this.

I wish I knew of any outcomes involving Zeus and other high-level Eternal/Deviant types.

Do we have any experts on Zeus?

If Odin won then why ask Thanos to yield ?

No, he didn't.

That argument is stupid. There are about 100 movies where a good guy is beating down a bad guy and gives them chances to give in, back down. It's one of the biggest entertainment good guy cliches. Hell even in real situations where cops have a suspect pinned down or surrounded they still give them a chance to drop their gun.

The fight showed no visible damage till the concentrated gungir blast. Thanos waded through it and wasn't beaten. It ended with no winner.

They showed him getting up in multiple panels (to show how slowly he rose I guess) and the artist drew wobble lines around his shoulders to show he was clearly shaken. His defiant No was clearly to try and show Zeus he could take him (posturing). Trying not to show the weakness the artist obviously chose to convey.

The writer clearly made the point the fight wasn't over. Then Odin relented due to finding out he was wrong. Standstill.

I don't personally think Thanos won the Odin fight.

Liar...

You once said that Sif showed up and saved Odins life from Thanos; if Odin was in danger of losing his life, then he was losing the fight to Thanos as well...wasnt he?

So if Sif showed up and saved Odins life, then Thanos won...didnt he?

I mean, now that I think about it, I now see what you see; Thanos was about to deliver the kill-shot to Odin in the final panel of the following pic...wasnt he?

I believe Thanos would have won butu then again have always maintained anything that would happen is speculation either way. Odin didn't put mighty preupgraded Thanos down. Fact.
