There are better shooters on PS3 and XBOX than Halo, though. It's not the flagship title it used to be.

I said a lot of people don't consider the online service to be that big a deal. I didn't say most; I said a lot, which is true.

PS3 has plenty of apps of its own, but why does that even matter? It's not a direct reflection on the quality of games; it's just extra gadgets to play with.

I agree...I'm talking about franchise games though.

I agree to an extent with online play. People revert from PS3 to Xbox because of the terrible online play for PS3.

Apps is just another reason why Xbox is a better device. Xbox is basically the future. People are turning their cable off because Xbox is providing all the needed material at a cheaper price to replace it.

I'd say the PS3 is in a stronger position if we're just talking franchise games, tbh.

PS3 online isn't terrible; XBOX is just better.

I don't agree in the slightest tbh. And as I said, PS3 has apps of it's own.

What do you mean?

Just the characters are more responsive. I can aim better, move my character around and see what I want to see and get the view to stop exactly where I want. on the ps3 i find myself readjusting because i moved to one direction to much because i couldnt stop in time. xbox just feels right. MOst of my friends have ps3 and if it wasn't for them, I would have stayed strictly on xbox with it.

I guess I just don't have that issue, for whatever reason.

who knows, it could be just in my head LOL.

If I had to pick one for purely game play I would go with the PS3.
but Kinect can be a monster with a lot of things. I have mine connected with my offices Communicator at work. I can video chat using my windows live id with my coworkers from home on their microsoft office communicator app at work. Yeah, I know skype does the same thing, but most companies don't allow ovvoo or skype at work.

Also i think they are going to make it into a hub for your Home entertainment system. Using kinect control all of your components will be awsome. There are a lot of possibilities but more than likely we'll probably need to upgrade to new hardware by then.

Okay that does it.

I am reporting all of you for going off-topic in this thread.

Especially you, Pr.

Why, I thought we are all in agreement that Superman wins. 🙂

The kinect is a wonderful piece of technology... Even if they ****ed up star wars.

Imo, 360 is better than ps3, I do like the uncharted series though.

I abandoned 360 after I rrod and got a ps3.

Bruce/Betty are hardly all that famous.

Lois is iconic in her own right. Everyone knows her story. Betty Ross though? Hardly.

I have no clue what Lois Lane's story is beyond the fact that she gets into a shitload of trouble and Clark could definitely upgrade from that shit.

So, I really wouldn't say she's all that "iconic". Superman is iconic, and she gets to proxy off of that.

I would just like to point out that this post:

You're asking me to prove a negative? How about you tell me how it DOES support your case.

of Pr's was never addressed by quanchi at all, and quan himself has a history of claiming that whenever someone leaves the debate they are conceding.

I am just saying.

Also Kinect Star Wars is best game ever.

Really? When some love interest of a hero gets her name on the title of a TV show, let me know.

No, just no.

I prefer 360 in general.

I own both and tend to only play ps3 when its exclusive to ps3. I made the mistake of getting Red Dead Redemption for ps3 and now its nothing more than a paperweight on my shelf. I wonder of that would be the case if I had gotten it for Xbox.

I do not like the controller for ps3 ever since I got an Xbox.

I prefer ps3 by far. Their exclusives such as gow blow anything xbox has out of the water in terms of exclusivity. I like their controller betters better as well. I like that I don't need to pay ps network a fee in order to be able to use netflix.

I agree with you on the exclusivity (Post Mass Effect). I also agree that Netflix should be a free thing on Xbox. However the browser for ps3 is far from comparable to 360's (matter of opinion) and I find ps3's control to be.... uncomfortable and unprecise. It has barely changed since ps1.

It's all about personal preference in the end. I also love that a ps3 is a blu ray player.

360 controller, best for FPS, and maybe some racers.

PS controller, best for everything else.

Me too. And I Agree.

I disagree. I find the 360 controller to be better in general. Maybe I just got used to it but I feel like it molds to my hand perfectly. The ps3 controller not only doesn't mold, but makes me feel like I'm carrying this hard plastic... alien device, and this is coming from a guy who's owned 2 versions of the ps1, 2 versions of the ps2 and a ps3. I was hardcore more into the ps2 than the Xbox. But when 360 came out I couldn't get enough of it. Can't say the same for PS3. Again this is all up to personal preference, there are no absolutes.

The 360's d-pad is loose and shitty, and its face buttons are stiff and overly convex.

The only thing I like about it is the concave analog sticks, and the back triggers.

The PS3 controller also has its weight more symmetrical.
