Last time I saw Rogue and Thor have a confrontation of sorts, he laughed off her punch (quantified as being able to shatter diamond) as a blow worthy of a frost giant.

Her absorbing powers have likewise shown hit or miss capabilities when dealing with gods.

Only time I seriously saw her having trouble with a god when it came to absorbing power was Ares and that was BS. Rogue has bn able to siphon power from Juggernaut irrc... I would assume Juggernaut is vastly more powerful than Ares

Juggernaut doesnt need to be a god his power is based on a god(evil god/demon) far above Ares and guys like Thor. Juggernaut is a conduit for that power.

besides like someone already mention she has partially absorbed Thor's power just fine without having an Ares moment.

Rogues first appearance she was a villain... Villains are usually portrayed as more powerful than heroes. And it's quite obvious her power levels weren't fleshed out at that point. Since she more recently couldn't drain ares who is far less powerful than Thor, I doubt she could drain him any time soon.
