It is entertainment for which you pay a reasonable price (books). Smas asked about books and movies. I commented with stuff like Why buy a book if you're never going to read it, again? Why buy a movie if you'll only watch it once? Isn't that a waste of your money? So why would you pay for a game that you'll get no more than 10 hours from but never play it again after you beat it? With a book that you buy, you'll usually get more than 10 hours out of it and it costs MUCH less than $60. Though, the two are not directly comparable, imo. I wasn't the one that brought that comparison up but I had to address it because it was posed to me. But, back on point, you should just buy a digital copy of a book or rent it (yes, you can rent copies of books for like..3 or 6 months) rather than buying the whole thing. It will provide you more time entertainment than a 10 hour video game for which you paid $60. Same thing with a movie: if you only plan to watch it once, Netflix or Redbox it, don't buy it. Unless you find one of those "2 for $5" DVD bins...then it is a good price, imo.

You should have rented Uncharted 3. You could have saved $55 if you rented it (I assume you'd have a $15 a month rental cost from Gamefly or a $5 store rental).

My motto for buying a game for the console (PC is different due to Steam having good sales) is that if I want to play it and going to play it numerous times, I usually buy it.

Or I bought it if the game is going to take more than a week to play (so a longer game like RDR)

I rented when I wanted to try it out or I can beat it a few days.

But it's changed. Kids happened and I can't rent video games at the store so I either buy the game or not. Per month rental services are out the window because for 20 bucks a month, I would need to beat 3 games to make it worthwhile a month. Not going to happen.

On topic, I'm waiting to build a new computer before I get it. The beta was pretty good. Annoyed that it's on Origin but oh well.

So right now Im at lvl 4 they added few new stuff like hacking turrets and turning them on the enemy ,bow, alien weapons.... nice game but nothing amazing.....

How about the uh... the single player?

I think we all kind of knew, deep down, that the multiplayer was going to be generic and flaccid.

Lulz Im talking about the single player...then chapter 4 or however would you like to call it...😛

Oh god.

That's scary. lol

So I would say its not worth the 60 dollars going by the campaign only but as soon as I finish the game gonna tell how long it took me to finish it and some of my impressions....though one of my friends beat it already and he said campaign is roughly 7 hours long...

Not that i'm going to be playing this one anytime soon

but one review that i seen, Basically said it feels more like an expansion then a new game. It also has some stupid moments in it for the narrative based objectives like for one involving a dam that i've seen......maximum switches, there was this whole thing around a dam and two generators, and once you'd switched the switches, you just blew up the whole thing anyway 😐

Just blew up that dam....yeah that was kinda dumb....haermm

So I beat the game under 6 hours and 34 minutes....It was pretty good it has cool moments story was ok....ending was kinda badass
You get to keep the perk you unlocked if you replay levels....
At the end

Spoiler:
You actually get to use a satellite as a cannon to blow up the Ceph invasion which are comingin from a warp gate....Imagine it like Prophet is floating in space and he uses some other rubble to jump onto a satellite he grabs it and uses it as a weapon....haermm

6 and a half hours, huh?

Whelp, can't say I'm surprised.

And I was pretty much taking my time with secondary objectives and stealth killing most of the enemy.....

I don't really care.

I've played Crysis 4 times, Crysis Warhead 3 times and Crysis once (which will be 2 in a few weeks).

If I played it 2 times, which I will, then I have no issue with 60 bucks. If you enjoyed it hell out of it then the length = price shouldn't be an issue.

You really, really like Crytek. We get it. 👆

It's for every game.

Don't get me wrong, I would rather have a longer game and it's sucks that is shorter than the previous 3.

But, if you read a review and still buy it and then complain that it's short then its your own fault.

I don't mind spending 60 bucks if the game is awesome. I rather have an awesome than a crappy long one.

I beat the game again on super soldier difficulty it was very easy.Basically all you need is to cloac yourself and kill everyone with the bow except in boss fights off course. It has 4 types of arrows....normal ,electric, sticky explosive and explosive...normal ones can be picked up after shooting them so you have limitless amount you can 1 shot kill even normal ceph withit heavy ceph can be 1 shoted with electric arrow...so its pretty much a cheating weapon...

Your retort, BF? 313

How hard can a game be when you can become invisible and 1 shot most of the enemy?😛

It's your fault for playing cheaply and not rushing at all the enemies while screaming leroy jenkins and blazing away with your assault rifle.

To be fair on super soldier you have no crossair and aim guide...biscuits

Haven't played the game yet, so I can't say.

Though I wouldn't be surprised at all if the bow is borderline game breaking as far as difficulty is concerned. At least in the other ones if you attacked from stealth you'd become visible for a second. The bow not removing you from stealth always struck me as something that could be problematic and over powered if not handled very carefully, and from what I've heard, it wasn't.
