what is the range of the lasso? what if she opens a portal around donna's head and closes it a dimension away? magik isn't your typical teleporter she can teleport objects and people without needing to see them.
she teleports in saves hope, unit a super computer cant react fast enough to do anything and then time new portals and brings the e-team in perfect combat formation WITHOUT HER BEING ON THE BATTLE FIELD... This is her first port into the area. No one can beat her combat teleportation feats. the closest would be blink
She can flood the area with portals to surround her teammates with BFR shields as well.
She can make it rain demons to provide a distraction and occupy the titans.
how are you so sure that the lasso will hit magik? She evaded photon a light speeder with her teleportation and she can travel anywhere in space and time.
She tangles with super strong demons all the time. She threw around Sym someone strong enough to break adamntium. Her armor takes poundings from him as well and blasts from high powered opponents (demon lords, powerful mages, etc...)
she owned the new x-men out of Limbo without using her teleportation powers and without the soul sword. she was severly depowered in this state.
Rockslide is superstrong, Mercury is highly resistant to magic and is very hard to put down physically since she is made of liquid metal and pixie and the soul dagger and soul sword. displaying all sorts of powers including healing and shields which mercury could by pass due to her immunity to magic. anyone with less durability then mercury would get ripped apart by that spell alone.
anyway il stop here im turning into a fanboy. lol It's just that magik by herself has powers on top of powers which can counter a lot of different types of people. and She has already faced powerful opponents like Magus, Enchantress, Belasco, Doctor strange, etc... and come out on top. Belasco has taken out both the x-men and the new mutants at once. But i agree Raven and donna are her biggest threats.....but i think her teleportaion, time manipulaiton and the soul sword can counter them.

Current Cassie's lasso syphons the souls of those it touches, so that could be a big issue for the "soul" sword.

I am talking about pre-flashpoint. Current Wonder Girl can drain the life force out of you. And Donna doesn't exist in the DCnU yet.

Yup. I agree I wouldn't count on soul absorption working on Raven. It's hard to debate on qualities that are very similiar. She's the biggest threat on the dc team for me. She really is quite the powerhouse. she would be the number one target for me on that team.

Yup. rechecked that. you are right. I agree, with all her powers. a lightspeed blitz is definately the best way to deal with her. Once she gets into Limbo or amps up...all it takes is a fraction of a second. fWithout CIS or PIS she'll be hard to put down by anyone.
However her she does have the mutant ability to manipulate the forces of time itself so she could technically turn into velocidad or maybe zoom by slowing time down or stopping it. (but that's just the fanboy in me talking hehe) she can be overpowered enough as it is. She did reset the entire 616 reality though. before a powerful spell was cast..so thats got to account for something. no one outside doc strange's room remembers anything...
they played with the time stream which dealt with the primal forces and fabric of the universe.

actually both have been prophesied to usher in great destruction and damnation on a grand scale...so both unleashed at their full potential not holding back is something i can't debate about. I have no idea what they can do totaly consumed by the darkside.
Magik's biggest thing to date i guess would be the event inferno, which she could only end by controling her dark nature or risking the universe in her battle with the elder gods, which is why she is in captivity now.

im just trying to comapre magik's role in the marvel universe vs raven's in the dc universe. i find hard to compare universes to be honest. haha like their tiers. I guess raven is pretty up there....
