I think Cain has brought this up before, he can be very fast he just doesn't want to.

Cain's speed has never been stated, but he showed legit superspeed in his Thunderbolts run(significantly depowered). He jumped on a construct made by Songbird and he was moving so fast that he was basically a blur.

That would require him to go over 700 mph anyway.

He also performed a speed blitz when he fought against Magneto...he did it as well when Cyclops had a growing Nuke implanted in his chest. He blitzed through the Xmansion.

Did he go mach 1? I don't remember the details, just remember that he did it. And I don't remember any of what Carver said. You got scans? Sounds like something I'd want to read.

Nah, he obviously didn't care about Latveria too much when he was stomping on Spider-Man. He just didn't want to utterly destroy Utopia. Cain would have stopped too if Squid Boy or Black Tom was on the island when he was fighting. And this is a forum thread, no surroundings to mess them up.

And I never said it stated how fast he went. I didn't even remember him making a sonic boom until Carver brought it up. And while yes the blur/sonic boom run in the Thunderbolts scan is sort of recent, I don't know about the other ones. How are the statements not accurate? Making a sonic boom is indicative of breaking the sound barrier.
