Galactic Easter Egg Hunt

Somewhere within the Milkyway on some planet, asteroid, star or satellite, Thanos has secreted a cosmic cube.

Whoever finds it first will get to keep it/prevent it from being used by Thanos.

The following individuals set out search for it, who finds it first:

Quasar
Gladiator
Adam Warlock
Thor
Runner
Nova (Richard Ryder)

They can use all their sensory/speed/data-processing capabilities but they cannot summon it to them.

If there's any characters you think particularly suited to this task, you can make the argument for them too.

PS. I left out Surfer because I think he would win this handily, so no point in him competing.

reed/doom might be able to match energy signatures since they worked with one before.

GL might be able to make scans of large areas for any unnusual readings maybe (idk about that one).

and anyone that has some level of cosmic awareness.

Out of the list, I can see Worldmind being very useful in scanning large distances.

Thor just goes home to Asgard, and asks Heimdall where it is.

Batman makes Thanos tell him where it is.
