Neeson returns as Bryan Mills, the retired CIA agent with a particular set of skills who stopped at nothing to save his daughter Kim (Maggie Grace) from Albanian kidnappers. When the father of one of the kidnappers swears revenge and takes Bryan and his wife hostage during their family vacation in Istanbul, Bryan enlists Kim to help them escape, and uses the same advanced level of special forces tactics to get his family to safety and systematically take out the kidnappers one by one.

He knew that was going to happen as soon as he killed the guy. So he let them take him, so he could kill the rest of them...Bryan Mills never leaves a job half finished.

Can't stand the character of the daughter... Liam Neeson's cool though, finally found a niche for himself.

Dumbass kidnappers can't even figure out Neeson is just trying to infiltrate their main base.

It does. The whole premise of the sequel makes sense based on the ending of the first one. He kills the guy, that guys father finds out who he is and kidnaps him on vacation where he's least expecting it. He gets to be badass once again and f his a up.

i thought the sequel was just gonna be him getting back in the game. whatev, as long as he kicks ass.

Basically he gets caught, gets his daughter to do some random boring stuff that nobody cares about, and then he kicks ass.
