Truth be told anytime I get a legendary piece of armor and it is for another class or I know I'm not going to use it I dismantle it.It's an easy way to get 2-3 Ascendant Shards per dismantle. I'm almost level 28 out because of it. I just need to upgrade one more time I think and I will have it.
I got five of the same legendary chest piece from completing some of the Queen's Wrath missions and all I got from dismantling a few of them was Hadronic Essence.

But if you randomly find purples or buy them you definitely get Ascendant Materials from them.
The loot goddess has a cruel sense of humoe. I been working my ass off to level up my vanguard rep and get enough marks to get a sweet assault rifle called Shadow Price. Now I'm 3 marks away from buying it and the loot blesses me with it. Funny. Guess I'll use the money to get the Pulse Rifle instead. Only gun type I don't have a legendary or exotic for.

Just get those marks and buy legendary gear to break/sell. GG. I had the option to get up to 30, but opted for a legendary fusion rifle.Having two chars makes the grinding much much easier.
BTW Hunters are so fkn fun! Double Jump for TOP TIER.
It's not about going places. It is about having full control of your char while you're airborne. You don't float around like a jackass. You can troll people with it. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've avoided certain death from ambushes by 3 players because I was hopping around like a bunny high on crack. Warp is good for that too, but significantly worse because you have very little control of where you land and how you land. Not to mention you stop reloading. With double jump I can hop around in the same spot forever while reloading. One time I some FKN how managed to avoid a Titan's hulk smash.

I still think the Warlock's hover is the best jump because they can float and shoot those a-holes.
They can also use it to effectively hide in areas where you normally wouldn't look. Then they get the first shot at you and you're dead. Or they can use it to float around or to an to an area and emerge battle ready from a spot you wouldn't think to look or be ready to get shot from.
I mean yeah if they just float up in the midst of a fire fight it isn't going to change anything. I think it is the best option because it seems to give them a great variety of options while still being able to shoot.
Titans can kind of do the float but they can stay airborne while firing same with Hunters.
I like the option to choose the glide with a faster forward movement. It is the one I used most before I switched to Warp(for voidwalker anyway) It makes covering distances a cake.
I heard Titans can have strong armors and shields without having to apply penalties to their agility/speed. Is this true?
Because Warlocks have to totally sacrifice speed to get good armor and shield while Hunters get crapped on because they have to choose between speed and armor or speed and recovery. Which is kind of a huge bummer.
