A lot of people forget that teen titans fight with SBP was at night. SBP isn't at 100% out of the sun. Think nuclear man from superman IV.
He's not depowered in the dark, but it has been stated and shown on panel numerous times that Prime is far more dependent on the sun than Superman. Then again, he fought Kal-L and Superman under a red sun, fought GL's in deep space, so the full extent of how depowered he gets "in the dark" is anyone's guess.
