Lol, yeah, trailers for trailers are freakin' stupid...
I found this, too. Very exciting... 😐
Here we go.....trailer is up
Y'know after watching the first 2 Iron Man movies & then The Avengers...I still don't quite get that power fusion disc thing on his chest. It's sole purpose is like a magnet to stop the shrapnel from getting any closer to his heart...okaaay.
So with all the technology that Stark has at his grasp, it's still impossible to operate & remove the shrapnel?
Even by using the same magnetic technology during operation to keep the shrapnel mobile before removal???
In The Avengers, Stark makes a comment to Banner, something about, "It's the burden he has to carry."
It just seems silly that Stark can make so many versions of his armour but does nothing about his "heart condition."

Well he has fixed his heart problem with the comics
not sure why with the movies.

Maybe that's what the surgery in the trailer alludes to?It seemed to me to be somehow related to the arc reactor.
Yeah that did cross my mind, seeing the trailer.
It's just doesn't the notion of an artificial heart exist in the Marvel verse? Something that's pretty common & straight forward these days, as far as operations go.
Eh, a heart transplant certainly isn't exactly "straight forward these days". Lots of problems can easily arise and it drastically reduces a person's life expectancy.

Well Extremis fixed all the damage to his body.
It totally rewrote his entire body.
Where does this come from? I don't see evidence for this at all in the trailer.

If they skip the whole Extremis formula but jump into the armor only, that would be pretty weird. Considering all the characters that made the formula are in the film.
