Injustice: Gods Among Us

Nice to see that there will be actual blood in it, if even a little.

Plot details:

"“An all-out battle rages between the forces of Superman and those allied with Batman’s rebellion. Time has stopped—the world completely frozen in a instant of time—a moment where violence has boiled over and could consume the meta-human community."

YESSSSSSS.

Time to beat that pompous little dick down.

So they copy paste the civil war arc/Kingdom Come? What a boring premise. I would of liked it if they just became corrupted by their power or some shit.

Like MKvsDC?

I mean seriously, what's so boring about the premise? It's just a adaptation and that's happen plenty of times in comic book games.

I wonder who'll be on whose side.

Other than Catwoman, because duh.

Well depends on what the actual reason for the split is.

No not like MKvsDC, where a strange magic power of LOLOLRAGE!!! turns them against each other. I want it to be more like they embrace their darker nature of their characters. While the whole currupt thing is been done, its much fresher than them simply dividing their lines due to bickering.

The whole ideology clash has been done to death(Avengers vs X-men, Kingdom Come)and done vary poorly written and often make it black and white(Marvel Civil War). its better to just make them turn gradually currupt.

Who said it was a copy/paste of either arc?

Besides, how does that sound like Kingdom Come to you?

It took Kingdom Come's premise of superman's real heroes vs Batman's emo git heroes in a meta war based one the leak. judging from the speech in the trailer, the difference here is that the split is the result of a some female or betrayal rather than killing and the strong imposing on the weak.

As for its relation with civil war, its pretty much heading to the superman vs batman ideology similar to Captain America vs Iron Man(hopefully not as miss characterized as civil war)

Edit: I don't honestly know what fight is about but seems like they heading to that cliche hero vs hero ideal that has been done to death.

Superman and Batman didn't turn on each other in Kingdom Come. They had a difference of opinion, yes, but it was nothing like all out war.

civil war was more about thge government and that bloody law. yes, i see the parallels with that, but i don't see how it's a direct rip off tbh.

I personally don't think there's anything wrong with cliches, when they're done well.

Plus, it's a better alternative than just corrupting them, imo.

I have to disagree there. I'd like it to be something like the Justice Lords. That was a well-done concept. It's easy to justify the characters becoming corrupt if you just move things a little to the right.

Plus the first trailer heavily implies that they're evil, not just having a difference of ideology: 'What if our greatest heroes became our greatest threat?' To me it looks like Superman is going to turn evil and start a takeover of Earth and Batman will rebel against him.

Are you serious? Superman would never do anything like that. Heck, his winpose has him going and saving someone's life.

Plus, I don't know why Superman would be the only one to do that. Even Batman could start a takeover if he chooses to.

Or Better yet Batman becames the evil one this time and superman rebells against him.

Nah, Superman is kewler as the evil guy.

To me, though, that would be like buying Street Fighter and being told "Oh, you only get to play Evil Ryu, not normal Ryu".

I want to play as Superman, not evil Superman. Maybe that's just me.

Superman isn't cool, period.

He is awesome though.

Agreed; Batman would be more likely to get power hungry than Superman.

I don't think you're in for much luck. The title of the game is 'Injustice', not 'Justice'.
