Tbh I had to watch a tutorial vid about clash system...since game tutorial is not that complex....😛

I just jumped right in to the story and learned while getting my ass kicked. Now that i finished I'll start learning the finer points

Heard a rumor one of the DLC could be scorpion from MK.. That will dissapoint me a great deal.

That would go against so much of the point of the game, it isn't funny.

In story, are their not multiple universes? It fits with what they have created if you assume that Mortal Kombat characters exists in a parallel universe to DC characters.

True but it's still a waste of a spot. In MK we got Freddy and that was fun but even then it was a bit of a waste. Putting scorpion in the game for no other reason other than they can just sort of sucks. I much rather see alternate reality DC characters than the alternate reality plot be used to suck in non related characters. Hell could get watchmen characters or wildstorm characters (assuming the world isn't already a shared world like new 52) instead of MK fodder.

Played demo. I'm gonna sit this one out unless a bunch of my friends get it.

I don't have a problem with this.

DC and Mortal Kombat are inseparably bound now due to Warner Bros owning them both.

I'm even fine with the idea of Mortal Kombat fitting within the DC omniverse. I'd like to see an ongoing comic series for MK even under DC.

I wouldn't mind a comic either.

Wasn't there a MK comic series years ago? I would love to see another shot at it and see it actually fit into DC continuity as an established alternate world that could even be called upon for crossover events and the such. Hell could even make that MK VS DC universe canon and just build upon that and leave the new game reboot for the games to explore.

I think malibu comics had a run with MK back in the 90s.

Also, Superman is incredibly cocky in this game. Black Adam vs Superman Clash:
Adam: "My power equals yours."
Clark: "No one's does."

Aquaman vs Superman
Aquaman: "What makes you think you'll win?"
Clark: "I'm Superman."

Yeah and from the looks of it, those comics were terrible. I don't think people liked Malibu that much.

Some have variations..

Like the flash one I mentioned earlier on but Flash responds different

Superman: Speed isn't enough

and instead of "Well I got my good looks and charm" I got

Flash: Thats what slow people say

They put some good work into this game and it really shows imo!

Yeah the dialog in this game is great, I love the clash comments
Batman: "Overgrown gorilla!"
Grundy: "Me Grundy, not Grodd!"

Harley:" I thought you loved me!"
Joker: "We need to talk."

Joker: "Smile!"
Batman: "I am smiling."

Grundy: "Arrow man no hurt Grundy!"
