Played online for the first time last night. Did horrible at first but ended up with a pretty good win/loss ratio in ranked. Played with Superman and pretty much wrecked any Deathstroke spammer i came across. There were a few that could actually fight with him without spamming and they gave me the most trouble. Batman and Nightwing players were also tough for me since it seems like their combos are endless!
Had a blast tho. 👆
Batgirl confirmed as second DLC character in Injustice: Gods Among Us

Batgirl has been confirmed as a DLC character in Injustice: Gods Among Us, as she has appeared in the game's downlodable content area. This is the second DLC character that has been confirmed with the first being Lobo.Batgirl's character art can be seen in the second image below. Please note, that while she's on the Marketplace you cannot download her, the completion bar will get to 99% then reset to 0%. After a few attempts it will prompt you saying Batgirl cannot be downloaded.

Guess that pretty much confirms Zod as well then, which sorta balances it out. Him I kinda always liked the idea of at least, and with being in the upcoming Man of Steel movie, his appearance seems a bit more justified.
And Boon seems to have implied that there may be more than just 4 DLC characters this time, so I'm not letting Batgirl's inclusion disappoint me that much, yet.
And I like the leather jacket WW costume a lot more now that I see a game picture of it. Nice.
Got into it on Facebook on injustice page, the guy posting for injustice ignored all of our comments and just threatened to ban us and said 'season pass, you get 4 DLC for the price of 3' and proceeded to treat us like we should be grateful lol. As if the character nobody wants (scorpion) shouldn't be a problem as he is 'free' for us season pass guys. (it fell into that context due to mood of the conversation anyway lol) Other guy went nuts.. Season pass for any other game gives you all the Downloadable content for the 'season' (year?) and it's clear the skins are separate so he ranted something harsh. Sooo much hate and frustration vented on the Facebook I ended up killing four hours just commenting and taking sick enjoyment from others sharing my frustrations but not my reserved nature.
I think Scorpion is still up in the air based on something Boon said on Twitter or somethin.
Hm, so has anyone successfully beaten the "Impossible!" battle mode? That and the max are the only ones I have left, figures. Have honed my skills by learning some new BnB combos and stuff with some of the character I normally use but still haven't gotten much farther on impossible during my latest tries. Surprised I even beat survival.
Regarding the other three DLC characters, awhile back Boon had a poll on his Twitter asking what certain character they wanted in Injustice. It had Batgirl, Supergirl, and Power Girl. Power Girl got the most votes and Batgirl got the least. Why bother doing that poll if you're gonna do the exact opposite of the results? Unless Batgirl was already worked on and they made that poll hoping it would be in favor, but didn't go as they hoped, I'm gonna have to question the mentality of the people making these decisions. And this is coming from someone that isn't so eager to have Power Girl in the game.
Zod doesn't really need to be his own character here. He can easily be a skin. We already have an evil Superman in the game. Whom even has a "kneel before me" line.
Scorpion is the one that annoys me the most. I like MK and I understand Scorpion is Boon's favorite character so he may be a bit biased here, but we finally have a good DC fighting game. How many of those do we have so far? I think every available slot should go to DC characters and not guest characters whom already have their own fighting game franchises and have already been in 9+ fighting games.
Plus Boon once stated that this wasn't MK and that it wouldn't have MK characters. If Scorpion is indeed in, that means he straight up lied to the fanbase.
I don't mind batgirl, as long as she has a Cassandra Cain outfit. That is the only way I'll get hyped for her at all. Lobo is a great choice.
Zod, I don't care for. Scorpion just shouldn't be there. They could have done so much better with dlc characters. This and the flashpoint skins wasn't worth the season pass.
well I don't know how many people have unlocked the concept art for superman but while I was looking though it there was a rendition that was Zod. He was wearing an interesting superman suit as well. I think its highly possible that they were planning to make him just a skin then went "nah lets just make him a character"

Yeah, that's about as far as I've ever gotten on it too. I know I could at least beat the max if the game had the same way of blocking as MK9, maybe... Not that I was unfamiliar with the concept of blocking by holding backwards, but after playing so much MK, it can still be a tough transition for me at times, especially against the AI on max or impossible.Under the circumstances with Man of Steel, I think they made the right choice there. It's interesting though if they indeed picked Zod over both Supergirl and Power Girl, both of which would've made some nice fanservice, though any one of them can be made to play uniquely well enough. I agree. And im actually up for Zod lol I think it would could be cool but I would however have liked it if they added Power Girl.
