So, was thinking about this game vs MvsC3:
The way the MvsC games are set up, kind of keep you from getting the full "I'm playing my favorite Marvel character" moments, when you're staring at Pikachu or Akuma.
Would you want to see a pure Marvel game? Or are you satisfied with the normal mix of MvsC series?
Ugg people can be rude lol
I was playing a guy that was using sinestro and he was using the meteor move but he wasn't trying to spam. It seemed like he didn't know a lot of combos so I tried to be helpful and give him a few tips but what I got in response was....
"ooh your an expert huh? you need to get out more"
you try to be nice to someone.....
EDIT: Im starting to close the gap between my Green Arrow and my Flash! Flash may be back on top soon lol

While I'm no SF expert, aren't there usually a ton of characters above Ryu? Chun Li, Yun, and Ken in Third Impact? And pretty sure Ken is above Ryu in SFIV now.
Well Ryu usually starts as top tier and then gets nerfed to kingdom come.
Ryu and Ken are even. In Arcade Edition Ken was better because Ryu's cMK and tatsu escape were ridiculously nerfed while Ken got a faster sweep buff. In the 2012 update Ryu and Ken got their cMK back and Ryu recovered his tatsu escape(though it is tricky to do) Ken lost the faster sweep while getting some normal buffs.
All in all they are in the same tier and their matchup is about as even as it can be.
Vanilla Ryu was up there with Sagat though and that is the version of Ryu I had in mind. lol

People can be pretty rude, yeah.
But you meet some good people too, so don't let it discourage you. I got an unexpected post match IM or two from gamers who just wanted to say a few nice words about the match, how it was fun, what I thought of their technique, that sort of thing.

What I will say about Aquaman is how I wish I could grab that trident of his, smash it, and shove that piece of tin so far up his rectum vertically, you can't tell the difference between him and a Klingon. The spams players can produce with him are just as bad if not more than Superman's heat vision and you can't even block Aquaman's super when you crouch. How does that work?

Marvel fighter would be nice with Thanos,Havok,Surfer,Genis,Ultron,Sinister,Black Bolt...Anyone gotten any good with Lobo yet?
kinda like havok from the old x-men fighter? lol I actually enjoyed that game though! Anyways I have trashed a bunch of Lobos online. I ran into a few spammers...not many. And I have fought maybe one or two people that were so good I was lucky to get a few hits in.

Not defending Aquaspam's case of course, but yeah.

Yeah, I'm alright with Lobo for him being another one of my secondaries. I like juggling with him starting with his <-Y ^ X combo, following with one of his 3-button strings and then one of his chain specials. Has some nice wall combos as well. Hardly use his shotgun in comparison.
So finally got Lobo...
I like that with b you can pretty much boost 2-3 hit combos to do 20%+ damage his range is not too good...his dash roll is great his "starter" combo(b,y,u,x) is slow and his jumping y attack is a bit slow as well.....his air d+a is great....
It will take some time to get used to him but if mastered he can be pretty good not Arrow good that's for sure though...

His launcher (Initiated with Y while crouching on the 360, I believe) is a pretty good defensive move, and combos nicely into into a shotgun or that big whirl move, if you're quick enough with it. Hard to block.

Good to hear about those other changes too though.
Lobo is great his x,y combo has a great range and you can instatly do a b,d,a special that goes low mixing middle ,overhead, and low attacks also from x,y you can do a.dash which is great...also with anti air you can choose the side on which you want to throw the enemy....making it easier to send him to a corner...
