Injustice: Gods Among Us

We've been playing as Scorpion for more than 2 decades.

Damn, when I saw new posts here again I was thinking that might've meant new news for the next character. Still bitching about Scorpion? Not like the game is forcing you or anyone to get him, and despite Batgirl being DC he was still a better choice than her far as I'm concerned..

Haters gonna hate. Someone or the other would ***** about it if it were someone else.

Netherrealm can't please everyone with their characters.
Given Scorpion's popularity and status as their flagship character, he was their best choice for a non-DC character.

Its fun to hate.

LoL. TBF I don't really care. I don't even own the game.

The problem is that DC has never had a proper fighting game of their own (minus that terrible one from long ago) and on top of that have characters who have never been in a fighting game nor have ever been playable in a game. So when NRS decided to make a DC fighting game, everyone wanted and rightfully expected nothing but DC characters.

Adding Scorpion upset people because he's been in several fighting games of his own and to put him in over characters that actually belong in this universe was just unnecessary.

I still downloaded him as I don't like having things locked in games, but it doesn't mean I don't think they could have done better. If they had to put in a guest character, they could have gone with a Watchman character or V from V from Vendetta. DC does publish their comics, but they're not part of the main DCU.

I will throw fits if Darkseid never makes it to the game while scorpion did.

I will throw fits as well if Swamp Thing doesn't make it.

MK vs DC wasn't terrible, imo. Unless you mean Mugen or something.

Not that. I was talking about that Justice League Task Force game. Hence the term "fighting game of their own".

Oh that; I never played that.

People already complain about Zatanna not speaking backwards only during the super.

She still looks decent though. And someone having a counter to Grundy's super? What madness is this?!

ST would be awesome.

I still don't think people should be all that upset about it like this. This is still a DC game and adding one non-DC character sure doesn't change that, especially with a roster as big as it is and still growing. I understand adding a character who's already been fighting games for decades may be a bit underwhelming but with so many other popular character choices that people are getting, I see this more as no more than a minor issue that really isn't worth the attention it gets.

People ***** because it wasn't necessary.

They may be bitching a little too much, but its like that nowadays.

If there was a Marvel equivalent of Injustice (pure Marvel fighter) and it had like Ryu or someone from SF as DLC I somehow don't think there would be as much bitching about it as there is with Scorpion.

As someone who still plans to buy the game, I'm really not that bothered about Scorpion.

It's a successful DC game that will hopefully spawn a franchise. Having Scorpion in the game will attract more MK fans than not having him in it, which means more sales, so It's all good imo.

Not to mention that the roster is still pretty hefty even without Scorpion.

Then I have to say you would be wrong, bro.

People would ***** as much if not even more since Ryu has appeared in more games than Scorpion and shotos generally gather more hate--especially Ryu.

I'm certain the majority of the people playing Injustice were already MK fans to begin with. As for the MK fans that don't care for Injustice, I doubt one MK character getting in would make a difference.
