All right...
Did that come off as too matter-of-factly?

Doesnt mean he shouldn't be in Injustice, besides Nether Realm Studios and Ed Boon know what they want. if Ed Boon put him in a Poll for DLC, they why are you complaining, even if he is with out a doubt a 1000000000000000000000000000% Batman Character, he was still in a Poll for DLC after the Fact.
and Nemesis X don't ***** to me, i ain't Ed Boon, and tell that to all the Fans that would have wanted him over unwanted Bat-Girl, i get that he is a Soul Batman Character, but that didn't stop people from asking about him on Injustice's Facebook Page and Twitter after every DLC Character was released, so your argument is pointless, your outgunned and out manned in the Matter. if Red Hood is DLC and you don't buy him guess what, your just the Odd Butt Hurt Fan Out, Red Hood is $$$ and Fans wanted him, so you bitching isn't gonna stop companies from wanting to make money, so yeah just stop, 1 person complaining about Red Hood wont matter when thousands more want him, if you don't believe me, and Ed Boon stated that he Surveyed the Page on Facebook and Twitter and picked the Characters that were Heavily Requested: Red Hood, Martian Manhunter, Zatanna and Power Girl, so OBVIOUSLY that means Regardless that he is a Batman Character, People Still want him and would buy him. so stop complaining
You're not wrong. I stopped playing this game, but if I did ever get back into it I would like to play as Red Hood. Great character, and I would enjoy the hell out of using him. He, Static, and Darkseid are the only characters missing from this game that I would have loved to have included.

I would have loved Red Hood because I love his character BUT they had so many Bat characters as is that im ok they left him out. As much as I love Batman and his entire big ass family Im gonna be honest, Im getting sick of him being pushed so hard. Its like DC doesn't believe in the merits of any one not superman or batman related. Seriously Im a huge Flash fanboy so you could imagine my frustration that batman had, like six characters, while The Flash had one. We got a Blackest Night suit for him that was actually Reverse Flash but imagine how cool someone like Heat Wave, Weather Wizard, Mirror Master, or Abra Kadabra would have been to play? Heck GL has some sweet characters that could have been interesting to use. Anyways to make a long story short There was already enough Bat characters to call the game "Injustice: Bat Gods Among Us".

The overabundance of Batman content I felt applied to the stages more than it did the number of Batman characters. Gotham City, the Batcave, the Wayne Manor day and night (should've just been one stage together that changes depending on what time it is on your system), and Arkham Asylum and the Joker's Asylum... That's like what, 2/3 of the game's stages right there?

Well if there's a sequel to this, I do hope at least some of the Batman characters that should've been in this game end up being in the next one, like Red Hood, and if necessary, cutting some of the ones that were more filler for the roster than anything (i.e. ones that had a real minor role in the story like Catwoman).

Other than that Power Girl and whoever else ended up not making it.

Bane should get his Origins look as well.
Hoping for Darkseid.

I think it's best if Darkseid is saved for the sequel where he's the main villain. He's too much of a threat in the DCU to simply be DLC.

Game has every damn character costume except for knightfall Bane which was one of my most wanted costumes...ermm

While I would've liked that too, I don't feel deprived by the lack of it like I do with the Knightfall skins & maps being exclusive to the PS3 version of Arkham Origins.

Tbh dont get the idea why it was left out I mean I know you had to play the mobile version to get knightfall but there were tons of other skins which could be accesed only by playing the Ios version yet still all of them are in the ultimate editon except for Bane.

So, finally got this for Christmas. Played the story from start to finish and, as ridiculous as it was, I have to say I really enjoyed it. It was fun. And, to an extent, it did play mostly like a DC story bar a couple of crazy moments. The explanation for the strength thing was actually cool too.

The fighting system is solid, and there's some really good variation with characters imo. The moves actually "feel" powerful, and look painful as hell at times.

Most of the characters I found pretty playable, though a couple of exceptions were guys like Flash, who just didn't play as I'd imagined him.

Favourite characters so far are Superman, Aquaman (holy shit he plays such an awesome part in the story), and Wonder Woman.

I love how Aquaman walks into alternate Atlantis and starts running shit and telling them what they're going to do. He basically says "I don't care where I am, I run shit in every Atlantis I step foot on." Then he was the only one who could hold off Superman. They really wanted you to know that Aquaman was no *****.

Yep, which is great, as it's what DC has been doing in the comics too for a while now.

And it followed DC's typical "the primary universe is the most powerful" logic.

Yeah the story was pretty decent. I was even able to look past the inconsistency of Doomsday being in the background when you fight Superman. The Batman mirror match was well done as in everything going on that lead up to the two fighting.

Yeah agreed. Using the voice actors from the animated shows really helped too, I thought.

So who did you not like gameplay or storywise?

I thought

Spoiler:
Captain Marvel
went out like a bit of a chump. I didn't like that I didn't get to play as
Spoiler:
main universe Flash
during story either.

The biggest problem I had with the story was why Superman went evil. That wouldn't happen in the comics, but I can see why they did it the way they did. Plus, it was a nice way to bring in the

Spoiler:
main universe Superman to save the day
.

I hated that too.

Spoiler:
Honestly, I felt like Marvel would've still been one of the good guys, not someone who follows Superman out of fear or is ok with him killing people. I hated how he just gets his brain melted for talking back. I was also turned off by the Titans being all for this new regime. From my memory they all seemed to really enjoy what they were doing and torturing Slade. The main reason why that bothered me is because I thought that the universe was supposed to be closely identical to the "main" one in terms of relationships, personality and beliefs. I can't see the "main" versions turning that way.

The only issue with

Spoiler:
Marvel
is that, if he had stood up to the regime, he'd most likely be dead, as Superman was being pretty severe about the whole thing.

I think with everyone, there needed a suspension of disbelief. Diana, Arthur, even Hal being so "turned" is just as unbelievable, to me, as the Titans. At least with Hal you could blame it on the ring's influence, I suppose.

Gotta disagree on Flash tbh. A lot of his longest combos can be harder to pull off than with other characters admittedly, like the ones you can only do when using his character trait that slows down time, but his playstyle still felt & fit how I imagined him. One of my favorite secondaries.

In addition to what you said about the story, I also liked the few QTE's it offered like with Arrow and the Joker, and hoping the next Mortal Kombat's story implements those kind of cutscene interactions from time to time.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, this is actually my first time ever publicly complaining about the things I didn't like. The story was still very entertaining and I wouldn't even mind seeing an animated movie adaptation of it.

While we're on the subject of QTEs can we talk about how Good Superman technically killed many innocent people when Black Adam was chucking cars that drove past at Superman?
