Anybody else looking forward to this? Apparently is is another game starring Big Boss and it is apparently set in Africa.

Finally a real announcement and it seems that we may be getting a sequel to MGS4 instead of a prequel, with Solid Snake returning! 😄

“ We have not finished with Solid Snake, despite the fact that I wanted to let him die at the end of Guns of the Patriots,” Kojima stated in the interview. In MGS4, Solid Snake degenerated into a tired old version of himself, assuming the new alias of “Old Snake” and still doing what he does best. MGS5 may have other plans for the legendary soldier’s final days however, and the game is said to be more a “Infiltration Game” that’s akin to Deus EX: Human Revolution.

Looks like Snake will become the next "colonel" and head of a Fox/Hound like infiltration unit.

I'm not so sure. The way he says that we aren't yet finished with him seems to tell us that he still has big role to play.

Hmm That was me hoping for that. Snake should be given a rest. Kojima wrote himself into a corner, so now he is just going to say "screw it!" and ruin MGS4's excellent ending?
