Some more gameplay, including Gandalf vs The Balrog:
Some facts about the game:
The game will cover all three movies, but for now won't include the Hobbit.
The game pulls audio directly from the movies, so is fully voiced.
There will be some minor RPG elements, such as collecting mythril so that armour can be crafted from it.
All in all, I'm very much looking forward to this game.
Slighty better quality then that trailer
will feature 85 playable characters, including a number that have never appeared in the film adaptationsThe title, which will take place at the end of the Second Age, will focus on offering a complete recreation of all of Middle Earth as based on maps and information from the original Tolkien novels. All areas from Rivendell to Moria will be located in the correct location as based on the lore.
While the game will include an instant travel feature, it will be possible to fully explore Middle Earth by foot or on horseback once each area is completed.
"We wanted much bigger and better than just having hubs that lead to playthroughs of the films," said TT Games' Nick Ricks.

Second Age? I'm assuming he means the Third Age. But maybe we get to play during the War of the Last Alliance. That could be pretty cool.
Would make sense. IIRC the first of the Lord of the Rings games started with the LA battle as the "tutorial level"- t'was also the first scene in the movies.
