Surely he fought Thor in Blood and Thunder, the story about a "Warrior Madness" Thor..... Where Thor had "Warrior Madness"..amirite?

It wasn't true WM, this was stated in the book just after Thanos trapped him in the force block. Thor's insanity was caused by Odin tampering with Thor's mind so many times.

So the arc where everyone kept saying how much stronger Thor was and how he had Warrior Madness and a Power Gem wasn't about that at all?

No he didn't. WM has no cure. Thor was suffering from madness but not a 10x increase in strength thats for sure. He wasn't holding back is all.

It doesn't matter if it was TRUE WM or not... It was made CLEAR Thor was fighting at a higher level than usual... Many people mention this fact and people who know Thor... Examples being Sif and Warlock and BRB.. They all commented one way or another that it was WM or that he was fighting at a higher level. So it doesn't matter if it was TRUE WM or just not holding back and going all out... In either case Thanos took on a Thor not holding back WITH the PG.

Before the gem, Thor was only fighting at the level that he's at when he doesn't pull his punches. No external amp. Odin's word trumps anyone else' word anyway.

Yeah good showing by Thanos.

Yea....Thanos knew even he couldn't beat that Thor, which is why he left to retrieve the force-block gun.

The experimental anti-Thor gun

The best part is that Thanos admitted that once Thor was strong enough to break out of the block, they wouldn't have a chance of stopping him.

Then in the next issue Odin easily breaks out of the block. IOW, by Thanos' on words, he didn't have a chance in hell of beating Odin. and his words were proven accurate during the fight, as Odin beat him down.

Please prove Thanos couldn't beat Thor.. i would like to see the narration proving this "fact" cause what WAS SAID BY THANOS on panel was that he was simply over the fight... NOTHING about him knowing he was going to lose. Provide proof for that stance.

With the power gem, Thor steam rolled through Silver Surfer, Adam Warlock, Doctor Strange, Dumb Drax, and the rest of the Infinity Watch. Yet Thanos was stalemating Thor with the PG by himself. Regular Thor without the PG would get stomped by that team. So the question is how much stronger does regular Thor have to be to stomp Surfer, Warlock, Strange + the rest of the Infinity Watch like he did with the PG?

It wasn't true Warrior's Madness. This was stated and shown in the comics. Don't see how anyone can disagree with blatant on-panel proof, but okay.

It was abundantly clear that it was a deranged and bloodlusted Thor, though.

I don't think any of them actually read the books.
