As much sympathy as I have for immigrants I have a real problem with decisions like this. The process of legal immigration is ridiculous. This seems like a slap in the face to everyone who spent the time and money to immigrate legally.

Obama is only shoring up his base. It seems a little late in the game to be doing that.

A lot of his supporter don't even know about that. For example, my in-laws are big Obama supporters, when I asked them what they thought of the kill list, they didn't know what I was talking about.

I was just thinking that.

This is why I've never voted. If I did, I'd feel a bit responsible helping morons like him running our nation. While some people have to spend money to move in here, we get people jumping over a fence and it's free for them and the government think it's now okay even though again, some others have to pay to get in. How frikkin hypocritical is that?

Apparently not. Just come over here and be a good person and it doesn't matter if it's a fence or an ocean as I understand.

Although I would prefer the immigrants to come legally, at least Obama is trying to keep the ones who are going to be an asset to our country. Now if he would just pass a law to send anyone who has committed serious crimes to be removed from the country, we would be in excellent shape.

Edit - On topic, there needs to be immigration reform. Obama also needs to do more than just legalize MJ if he wants my vote.

In all honesty their isnt really an immigration problem and most of it is based solely on racism. Penn and Teller did an episode on this which I watched last night.

Contrary to what ppl believe illegal immigrants dont actually take jobs from your average american and is just BS excuses to try and keep none anglo european out of america. The U.S. has had a long history of doing this with various ethnic groups while making exceptions for certain groups.
