Favorite Philosophy Texts

Searched and couldn't find a thread on this. What are your favorite pieces of philosophy?

Mine are Problems from Philosophy by Rachels and Plato's The Trial and Death of Socrates. I've read other things here and there including a number of essays from a pretty good ethics book that I have but both of those are my two favorite stand-alone works.

I'd love to see what others have read and are interested in.

Does the Center Hold? by Donald Palmer and Twenty Questions by G. Lee Bowie, Meredith W. Michaels, Robert C. Solomon are good introduction to western philosophy texts.

I enjoyed Godel, Escher, Bach, which probably qualifies as philosophy of mathematics. Bertrand Russel has his own Introduction to Philosophy that I'm working on right now.

I tend to read works that are on the borderline of philosophy and some other discipline.

My favorites would be Michel Foucault's Discipline and Punish, Erich Fromm's Escape from Freedom, George Lakoff’s Whose Freedom? Also, Metaphors We Live By by Lakoff and Mark Johnsen as well as works by Mircea Eliade and Rene Girard.
