Personally I think the OT has been explored enough.

Star Wars has been explored enough.

But hey, that looks like a competent female character (or a Lesbian). We could use a bit more of that in the universe (competent female characters), for sure.

There are still thousands of years of unexplored time. Plus whatever the future might bring.

Agreed. Sarah Conner would spit on most SW females.

Looks like Brian Wood is the right pick for the writer going by some of the comments.

To be fair the times in between each of the OT movies or directly before/after ANH/RotK haven't been explored that much compared to the PT movies.

Legacy didn't so much ignore continuity as shit all over it (including the movies).

If I see one more ****ing story about some "prodigy" Jedi who becomes disillusioned with the Jedi way and becomes a loser anti-hero or villain I'm going to puke.

All the best Star Wars stuff has nothing to do with force users or the force itself, like the Empire comic series. That shit was amazing.

I hope it's another Legacy, that one was good.

Also, wasn't Dawn of the Jedi supposed to be an ongoing? Or is it an on-and-off series like Invasion and Dark Times are?

Agreed, sorta. It's a big galaxy so there is room for a lot more if people really branched out, but so many stories at least circle the main events.

Read some things on this upcoming book

you have to pretend you've only seen the first Star Wars movie that came out and the other's haven't been made yet.

Has anybody been reading this? What are everyone's thoughts?

Read it, like it. Leia's pretty much the main character. Han shoots first. Buncha sneaking around in fighters and being rebel-y.

Read the latest issue and still not really sure what to think about this series. It's alright but I don't think Brian Wood really has a good handle on the characters or the setting.

Pretty good latest issue, really like how they were switching through the different storylines and really interested in who that mysterious person Leia came across might be, have a feeling it'll be a Jedi we've come across.
