Plas obviously has better physical feats and ability than Reed, but is perhaps not as thoughtful (obviously).

Nah, much as I like Eel, Doom will win. Heat/freezing/ultrasonics/magic, all effects of which are easily created by Doom.

Yeah, physically, Plas is a beast in comparison to Reed, but even so, attacking Doom in Latveria is only going to result in a resounding loss for him. Between the legions of Doombots, tech defenses, and Doom himself, there's no real way he can win.
