Not imo. Jean was still coming in to her power at the time, and the Phoenix was fine after the attack.

It reconstituted though, iirc, just like Emma did fighting Thor.

Plus, it was a bit of a low showing for the Phoenix.

Actually , it got forcibly reconstituted by the Shiar . It was supposed to be reborn anew eventually , in a more natural manner , while incubating within the White Hot Room , but those damn Shiar made sure that didn't happen .

I agree it was a pretty bad showing .

Herc and Ares are kinda useless here...physical blows won't mean much. They can reform. Not sure what Hulk can do either does current Hulk have something more then brute strength?
