really? I recall Comedian being superhumanly strong, punching out chunks of concrete, during his fight with Ozy, as well as having superspeed and accuracy too.Bane was strong, but not quite a match for Comedian, imo.
hmm, I thought the Comedian's demolition job on the apartment walls, whilst fighting Ozy showed a lot more strength. Bane did tear a chunk out of a pillar, but that's about it, iirc. And Bane was eventually matched by Batman.
Bane was more peak (movie/comic) human, whereas The Comedian was shown as being somewhat superhuman.
Remember Batman's been out of commission for 8yrs, he's nothing like as fit and capable as he was in his prime, so Bane's performances against him have to be judged accordingly. Batman's body is not in good nick, as the doctor establishes early on.

Just checked the fight Comedian punched a very little piece of a wall off then he punched through some wood.
Bane left a huge hole in that pillar he wins easily.

hmm, I'll have to re-watch that fight scene, I remember him punching through the wall, with one of his wild swings.
Originally posted by janus77batman never matched bane's skill. ever. even in round two, after batman's 'rocky-esque' comeback, bane was still picking him apart. all batman ended up doing is exploiting a weakness of bane's-- a weakness that i greatly doubt comedian would try to exploit, considering batman (with his great tactical knowledge) never attempted to do so during round one.

as far as batman's battle-worn body hindering him: his leg/knee is what was holding him back the most, and that was fixed early on after bruce donned the 'robo-brace' fox made for him and kicked through a brick wall.
