Concerning their armor's physical might, (sans shields) does Tony have a durability feat as good or better than literally no selling a punch from Thing across the face?
Tony's face is most durable than his armor 😂. He (mostly) no sold a Hercules punch to the face - with no helmet. I think that's pretty phucking impressive.
This was pre-Heroes Reborn era when the original Tony became a villain and was killing Avengers

My memories all over the place. Wasn't that Dark Avengers?Doom and Patriot using Doomtech to go back in time to defeat Morgan Le Fay?
What you're describing did happen in Dark Avengers, yes.
But in the scans posted, shortly after their scuffle, Doom, Tony, and Sentry get thrown back a few years to the "silver age" of Marvel. They have to use Reed's time machine to get back to the present.

What happened next?

He also took Cap's shield when his face was exposed in Civil War.
