Moondragon vs Xavier

TP battle only.

No mind gem for Moondragon.

I want to say Xavier because he's one of the few telepaths I know who has the cajoles necessary to try and use his powers on Galactus. It didn't work but he gets some points for trying.

But, Moondragon did manage to mentally enslave Thor once. If I remember correctly. That's impressive too. Hmm, dunno.

Also Prof X just effortlessly KOed P5 Namor and all the Avengers fighting him, including Thor.

Prof X takes this 10/10.

Moondragon once mentally enslaved a whole planet, whereas Xavier only has gathered the mental energies of a whole planet and weaponized it against Galactus and the Z'noxx.

I'd say overriding and dominating billions of minds on a planet sorta trumps simply gathering them, so I'd go with Moondragon for a slight majority.

IIRC, the writer did say that Profossor X's power were increased by the M'Kraan crystal. It's funny cause Moondragon had like 2 or 3 power increase and she always thought of as Xavier's equal.

I've always thought that Charles was "Earth's most powerful telepath" because Heather lives in outer space.

According to Tom B, Xavier is the number 1 telepath in Marvel.

Moondragon block him long enough to come to close combat and then beat the living shit out of him, crippling him a second time in the process.

It was Silver Surfer that she tried the same thing on shortly after, but failed.

Both Xavier and Moondragon have now basically defeated Thor and the Avengers with a quick psi-bolt. But without mind gem I'd give the slight edge in TP to Xavier at the moment.

However, in an all-out battle she could probably hold out long enough to kung fu him.
