Personally, I don't take most of what anything says about shit like rape or race or other phucked up jokes personally. It gets pretty wild and over the line, and once someone says something along the lines of "hey, serious note, ____________ happened", generally, most of the guys have that much decency and respect to lay off. All in my general experience, of course.

That said, the truth is that Abhi barely escaped a ban for what he did, so he's on thin ice as it is.
Second, if he actually felt offended by something someone said, he's welcome to report it. It doesn't mean we'll always act, but we will when it's appropriate.

If he reports people for genuine infractions, then yes, action will be taken.
Given his general behaviour on the forum though, there are bound to be times when he (in a context completely unrelated to what he said before) brings it on himself. I'm not going to babysit anyone who causes trouble.

I've nearly died many times (almost cut my face off last month with a chainsaw, and two poles almost crushed me in that same time), my brother many times (broken back 3 times, broken neck, etc), my mom just last month, my nephew is in and out of the hospital, my grandparents died, and my dad beat me and my mom a couple times when I was younger, among many other things, and I'm as gleeful as a carver in shit, with a slightly dark sense of humour.
If you're that affected by shit, then being on the internet isn't going to help you. He's responsible for what he says, not anyone else.

Every one has their own phucked up shit to deal with. There's also a difference between taking jabs at a poster personally or in jest and then doing the same to a member of their family, especially a child who's sick. Abhi's apologized for it and it's really up to Nihilist as to whether that matters or not, imo.
That said, Abhi's general behavior/stance on the forum and more trivial issues (fictional characters in tights and whatnot) is something else. I don't dislike or hate the guy but he's embracing his inner Carver, so good for him. 👆
Yeah, I think a lot of posters get waayy into things - just take a step back, and remember at the end of the day, this should be fun. If it gets too much, log off and take a chill pill. Abhi said what he said - its out there in the open now, and that's that. He's apologised, and from what I've seen, hasn't openly engaged Nihilist since then. He had some issues going on, from what he said, and whether its true or not, at least he tried to give reasons rather than just laughing it off and being a dick about it.
Plus, he does know his Superman. A bit fanatical about it, but he DOES provide scans and issue numbers when called up about things.
