Link vs Jubei Kibagami

That being punched thing is really not comparable to being hit as hard as Link was, even with the flat of the axe, Link was unhurt and the boar sent flying. That's a lot of force, and it's not like it's Link's only durability feat.

I posted a video earlier of him stopping a 60 ton-ish rolling Goron without being crushed, for example.

Both of those produce enough force to damage steel. 😛

Another thing that occurs in Twilight Princess is that Link is fired out of a cannon in the sky down into lake Hylia. Sky cannons are powerful enough in TP to send Link to the city in the sky.

I never have been able to find a video of that though.

They're tough to find without commentary.

Cannon 1 (Into the desert)

Cannon 2 (Into the sky)

Cannon 3 (From the sky)

I remember WindWaker Link being shot out of a cannon and into Gannon's Fortress walls.

If the kid is so tough then how come he can lose a couple of hearts from being hit with a stick?? Yet shot out of a cannon and he hasn't got a scratch on him????
I call shenanigans!

To make the gameplay possible to lose. Game's no fun when you can march through everywhere and casually slaughter everything even if you get hit.

Stuff like that is possible to avoid anyway. Since there is no guarantee that Link will ever be hit by some of the enemies, those damages are considered non-canon. If you suck, you'll get hit. If you're good enough you can walk through the game without ever taking damage. It depends on the player, really.

I was thinking that exact same theory today.
If there was a Link movie he would never get touched.
The hearts exist as try again tokens.

Damn Looney Tunes can't lose!

Rock guy's best feat is ripping a guys arms off.

Jubei is critically injured from Rock guy's punch.

/thread?

Jubei was insanely fast when he cut through Tesai's rock hand.

He had the AIDS though thanks to eating out that poison ninja babe.
Her virus caused his rock flesh to corrode allowing Jubei an opening.
Cutting of Tessai's fingers before he could catch his super boomerang.
Resulting in his death.

The thing about Ninja Scroll was Jubei was young and it was a heroic trio against an army + the 8 Devils of Kimon.

A Government Spy.
An ninja poison taster.
And Jubei...an apprentice super ninja.

I agree on the speed and effectiveness of his attacks though. Beyond human. And interesting to say the least.
Jubei can release his sword to create a force of energy that goes much further than his sword is, separating flesh with ease.

It's this power that never got explained. I always thought it was the steel string connected to the sword being used in an arcane manner.

An ability that will go unnoticed in this forum fight. Jubei can move quickly and he can eviscerate flesh along lines of influence. Unfortunately the debaters here have enforced that Link is infact near invulnerable to any such damage.

Link gets murderalized.
