If bloodlust is on characterization doesn't matter, but this is going into a bunch of what-ifs. My only question was regarding the application of lifting strength to "ripping people apart" strength.

Pfft, what melee skills? I got on the scene, like, only a month or two before Brawl came out. I've never had melee skill. If it's any consolation, though, I haven't touched Brawl in at least two years. 😐
