Are you ready?

Are You Ready?

Have you prepared for the possibility of hard times? Yeah yeah, I know that most people have already been through hard times, but this is not what I'm talking about. What I am talking about are world crisis, total financial collapse Mad Max shit with no relief in sight.

I've personally recognized that there are two types of people that live in society. The proactive, and the reactive. The proactive people always seem to be one step ahead of the reactive people who are often the ones that the proverbial fan meets the proverbial shit, which splashes on them consistently.

What would you do if the economy crashed, and the entire world was in a state of ruin?

Have you begun to collect items that could help you survive, or ride out a crisis?

Can you make a list, of 20 things that you believe would allow for you to survive in a ruined economic society, and give a small reason why those items would keep you from deaths door?

Have you even begun to prepare? One day success may mean just surviving.

Comments.

Already saving up to by a motorcycle, sawed off shotgun, and machete.

These are all you need to survive any kind of apocalypse.

So where would you live, and what happens when you run out of gas, and bullets, or someone with an AK47 is behind you? Just make a list of things that you would consider stock piling in case times became really bad.

I'm training myself to be invulnerable to disease, Mithridates style.

I have this hedge trimmer im not using... so theres my weapon right there. As for money well wont everyone else steal? Unless we have to trade shit like Cuba? But saying if we had to do shit we didnt want to, then id be fine with it as long as no one messes with the water and washroom system im good.

Well there would be thieves, this is likely a certainty. I don't believe that money would be very useful if there were no stores open to purchase things. Bartering would likely become a mainstay, and the most common method of trade. I've begun stocking toilet paper, so whenever I go to the store these days, and purchase one 12 pack of toilet paper I buy an extra 12 pack which I place in storage. I'm aiming at stocking at least 100, 12 pack bundles, and then I'm going to move onto stocking canned goods. Imagine living in a world that had no toilet paper?

Gold would likely be useless as well. Gasoline may be a good idea, as would water, various vegetable seeds that you could begin to grow food.

I just figure I'll die in the ensuing orgy of panic and violence. None of this "survival" crap for me.

I'll steal what I need.

They can't hit me on my motorcycle.

It's been proven that if you have a shotgun, machete, and a motorcycle you will survive the apocalypse.

I did some of that "readiness" thing after 9/11. Now I have more canned soup and duct tape than I know what to do with. In any event, I'm now hoarding pebbles whilst teaching my family the deadly art of slingshotting.

👆 😂

I am diabetic and have hypertension so if society were to collapse and we had total anarchy without my medications everything else would be pointless.

I'd kill someone who wasted their time getting ready and take all their stuff...

what if they had a shotgun??

Extremely unlikely where I'm from...Unless they're a farmer...or a farmer's mum.

Yeah... I'd die a slow, p.

DAMNIT. Sorry, my cat just walked across my computer five times, and managed to turn off the wireless as well as posting "her" lovely opinions.

Ugh. OKAY.

I would die a slow, painful death. I have severe kidney problems, and I've had a transplant. Truth be told, I'd probably die of dehydration within a day or two, it happens much much faster to kidney patients because the water goes through the kidney and without that water the kidney just sort of shrivels up.
