vs.

Younger Toguro, one of the villains from the Yu Yu Hakusho anime/manga series

As pointed out in the YYH wiki, both were once human, gave up their humanity to become extremely powerful demons (or in Akuma's case, a demonic-like being), have an insaitible lust for fighting, have a code of honor, killed the main character's teacher, are major antagonist to their series respective main characters, and waiting for someone who has the power to defeat them.

So wins in this fight to the death?

Akuma is not a "villain" in the series.

...He's not?

Not really... if you read about him. I mean all he really wants to do is find an opponent worthy of fighting. He just happens to sometimes get involved in other people's shit. But I guess if you call him anything it's like a vague anti hero. I mean he did randomally jump in and kill M. Bison with no reason at all in Street Fighter II. Then walked away.

Akuma can be considered a villain. That's the whole point around the "murderous intent" concept. He's not the main antagonist and he may have his honor code but none of this changes the fact he did kill his own master and intended to kill his brother too. He sure isn't an anti-hero either.

Anyway, on-topic, who wins?

A little small note: Street Fighter characters made cameos in an episode of Yu Yu Hakusho.

Akuma hits way, way too hard for Toguro to take the blow, but Toguro is much faster.

That said, Akuma also has powerful AOE attacks which he can use.

So it's a draw?
