Yeah, I wouldn't put it past the writers for there to be some PIS reason on how he gets out, whether he has help in it or not. If he does get out though I expect him to be one of those occasional rivals for Oliver rather than being the main antagonist of a season again, but ya never know. Regardless, Slade was a big part of what drew people like me to the show in the first place, so yeah.

I just had to post here. I keep hearing all these great things about the show but I can't get past the advertising of the show. When I go on Netflix and see this show, it's presented to me as a man with no shirt who is in peak physical condition. This tells me that the show is marketed towards woman.The main appeal of the show is catered towards girls. They want to show hot guys with deep stupid problems. I'm surprised they bothered to give the guy a quiver of arrows on the cover art. Much like all of the other super hero t.v shows it has to have the sex appeal that caters to the opposite sex or else it fails. I don't know, that's me judging something on marketing and only having watched two episodes, however. It's almost like Hawkeye in the Avengers, I get why he wasn't wearing costume in that movie because it's the first time we're introduced to him, but if he's not wearing a mask and costume second time around then it's obviously all about marketing. Stupid ass cover bothers the hell out of me, why is he topless lol it looks like a GQ add lol
man Slade jobbed horribly in the season finally, i cant believe he didn't frisk felicity when capturing her, and didn't see her moving her hand, Jobber status Slade, Jobber Status.....or Guggenheim jobbing Slade, either way it was a lame and disrespectful way for him to go out, and he got beat by Oliver......BS

What more could you have hoped for from Slade, honestly? You knew he was gonna lose or had to have known once Oliver started to level the playing field. How would y'all have preferred he got taken down then? Regardless, Ollie fought Slade enough beforehand to know his method and tactics and would still finally outplay him somehow while allowing Slade to think he still had all the cards... Simple as that. Slade still got a lot of good treatment throughout the season though. Him getting stopped, even if some of it was PIS doesn't change that.
Now if anyone got "screwed over", it was Sebastian Blood... Still, like the majority here I felt season 2's finale easily outdid season 1's, though I agree on Merlyn and still look forward to his return as well, even if he'll still be raising his bratty ***** of a daughter whom Roy is too good for.
