Are the NJO characters strong enough to continue?

There should be a spinoff post- NJO book about his life story, with glimposes into his thoughts and past histories with the Empire and the New Republic. But the story should be told in first person and act as his memoirs written many years after the NJO conclusion.

It's always good to introduce new characters or expand the lesser ones, it adds variety, but I think after NJO, they may struggle to find new ideas to take the stories along.

maybe.....would the book be called...I, Admiral?:-)
