Mark Millar To Consult On FOX's MARVEL ADAPTATIONS

FOX and Miller deserve each other. They both suck.

It goes to show Fox is serious about keeping their Marvel properties - except for Daredevil, as Marvel Studios can get the screen rights back by next week - and hopefully a sign they are going to do a better job with them, after falling off in quality following the first Fantastic Four movie. X-Men: First Class was a great improvement, and now they need to continue.

Mark Millar was the one who talked Jon Favreau out of using the Mandarin for the first Iron Man film; that was valuable advice. He can be a good consultant.

Miller isn't that bad

but then again i don't have any gripes with him as a writer.

Kick-ass the comic was unreadable.
Civil War was bleh.
Didn't like Ultimates at all. Though I enjoyed his Xmen.
Never read Red Son but was told from many it was boring.
I liked Old Man Logan.

In regards to him persuading Jon into not using Mandarin in IM, well anyone would've told him that.

Kick Ass was just OK. Old Man Logan was good. Ultimates is mixed bags. Millar used to be one of my favs, but not anymore.

🙁 I... I don't get it.

Ultimates 1 and 2 were good. And let's be honest, they're responsible for influencing the Marvel Cinematic Universe and even 616 comic book stuff to an extent.

Miller's saying Josh Trank who will be doing the F4 reboot is looking at the Stand Lee & Jack Kirby stories for inspiration.

All he needs for inspiration is Doom.

And here I'm thinking they will be looking more at the young kids from Ultimate Fantastic Four. The previous two films already mined Lee & Kirby.
