6. What type of online gamer are you? Achievement hunter, social player, competitive player, or a hybrid?
I do not do achievements. I think they are stupid and I have never been an achievement whore. I guess I am a social player and a competitive player. I don't like to game online, but when I do, I play to either get better so I can win, or I play to win. 😐
7. How do you like your story in videogames?
The story has to be decent. You can have the best gameplay ever in a single player game but if the story is balls, there is no way I could stomach playing through the game. Maybe it is because I am an amateur writer and enjoy comic books, manga, movies, and great video game stories. I'm probably just biased.
8. Hoarder or non-Hoarder?
Dude...I horde. I can never have enough space and it makes me frustrated when I have to clear out my inventory. What is odd is I am not a hoarder in real life and cannot stand clutter. In games like Diablo III, even though I hoard, I still have everything organized into hilariously clean and categorized sections. I should probably open up Diablo III and take a screen shot to show what I mean.
6. Online I play for fun.....unless achievements or trophy's can be obtained then I do both but I wont sacrifice one for the other. Basically I either have fun getting them online or I just don't go for it.
7. Before achievements came into the games I would actually play through my games on normal get the story and be done. I feel achievements add replay value. They add to the game because...well for instance in Dishonored the clean hands achievement helps boost your want to not kill anyone. So yes I really enjoy them! Also its fun to get into competition with friends. The main thing about games I love is a strong story...a strong story beats all. If the story sucks I will get the achievements beat the story and never play it again. If its a strong story I can replay it tons of time just to play it again. Basically I could not agree more with your statement for this one!
8. I will gather and keep everything that will fit in my inventory. When I come across something else I will use anything that needs to be used but if I can't use it I will weigh if what I found is more important then what I have and drop/keep accordingly.
