TPM Mace Windu

So originally it was believed that Vaapad was developed in the time between TPM and ROTS. However in The Jedi Path: A Manual for Students of the Force, it says that Qui-Gon refused to allow Obi-Wan to study it. Similarly Cin Drallig would not let Anakin study it. This suggest to me that it was an established, perhaps completed form even as of TPM.

That's an extra feat for Qui-Gon Jiin who was said to be on par with Mace in his prime.

The Jedi Path: A
Manual for Students of the Force is non-canon.

It is stated in sourcebooks multiple times.

Wut?

I've never seen this elusive quote.

I haven't either.

Then it simply doesn't exist.

Yup makes sense. 🙄

I see that comprehension of sarcasm is as elusive as this quote.

Go find it.

Are you daft? Do I look like I have the time to look through every Star Wars sourcebook for a statement that has been around for years?

yeah

Anyway, if you can't or won't, that's fine, but let's not pretend that it means anything until it's found and presented.

No. You don't get to come in here and change established canon.

damn

Was it that obvious?

I guess I shouldn't be surprised, since there's also a quote that says Qui-Gon was more powerful than any Force user ever.

Stupid example because that can easily be taken as hyperbole.

No, the quote says that it's meant to be taken literally.

I almost 8ought that 8ook in Friday. I could have cleared this up right away if I had.

Heh, whoops.

After he became one with the force, sure. 💃

No, it says he was more powerful than every Force user ever before he became one with the Force.

I flicked through and I can confirm that it does say that.

It also says that Nihilus is more powerful than Sidious as well, and explains that it means in terms of Force Power and that if they ever had a fight, Nihilus would win in any situation.

Is that the one that also says Tobin is the foremost authority on the Force?
