I think so too, but that would make it too easy for Sidious. Let's just say he doesn't have it so it makes the match-up more interesting...

With or without his saber Sidious wins. Luke is pretty well a non factor compared to Sidious at this point. The fight totally depends on if vader can channel Sidious' force lightning into his saber or not. If he can't then vader just dies almost instantly and Luke is no match at all for Sidious.
