I'm sorry, but you obviously need to catch up on your Hulk comics. For a decent chunk of his history, Hulk was treated as an invulnerable character in the same vein as Superman and the Silver Surfer. The healing factor came second during that era.
Hulk is all X-Factor. He can go from being more durable than Superman to having less hard durability than Wonder Woman but with a healing factor that gives him greater damage soak than either. It all depends on what monster leaps out of Banner's mind this time. When it comes to himself, Hulk has like borderline reality warping powers.
Rage is the best.
I hate to say it, but I think carver has a point. Writer's intention to mention what the weapon did was clearly a way of signifying how impressive/powerful the weapon was. While one can argue that it, being a copy, COULD be weaker, it should be around ballpark area of what can be used to melt/mold Adamantium. It could also be argued that the weapon was more of a matter rearranger more than anything. Hulk HAS resisted high end matter manipulation before.
If anything, tho, I would see this as both a high feat for Hulk and a jobbing low feat for Adamantium if he ever manages to shrug it off, tho.
Anyway, back to topic. ^_^
