So, if you could kindly provide information about the institution you are involved with, funding, ethics approval, how you keep personal information private, etc, sure, I'll participate. [/B]

in Canada, yes. in fact, data collected on subjects through electronic means is required by law to be kept on an encrypted drive. A virtual identity still contains things that could identify us as individuals. a screen name, afaik, is not the same as anonymity.
laws may vary. if you aren't doing research for an institution, you are likely safe, I'm just giving you shit.
I'm not, however, lying 😉

Men have egos that you can bruise easily. Men cry when your not looking to hide the shame from their face. Men tend to over exaggerate. Men think they know best. Most importantly men think their lies will never catch up to them but thats only a matter of time. If I weren't a man I would hate myself.. instead I play the role of a lifetime.

This is my favorite post in the whole thread. I'm not even sure the last line is congruent with the rest, but it's worth a chuckle.
Also, this should probably be closed. Even if it's only for personal curiosity, the questionnaire is poorly constructed, and the majority of answers reveal more about the posters' sexual kinks than anything useful about mods.
I hear 4chan loves doing things like this though. OP, you should try this there.
But to help the kid out:
Moderator:
1. Age and sex - 28M
2.Look - Exactly like me, freshly showered and nude.
3. Good moderator does....everything I do.
4. Good moderator does not.....do anything that I don't.
5. Do you want to be a moderator? Why/Why not? Hell no.

Is this question relevant to these statements?
"it is illegal to conduct research on individuals without informed consent, prior ethics approval or a debriefing session."
"It is a federal law where I am from, and in most of Europe. Might be a state thing in America."
The answer to your question is a resounding yes.

you are telling me you do research on human subjects with no legal requirement of informed consent?

Very odd question considering you asked me this:
"do you do research on people?"
To which I replied:
"The answer to your question is a resounding yes."
I asked you a question in my previous post. Let us start there before we proceed with more questions.
But, I'll entertain you question for just a second:
What about this exchange:
you asked me this:
"do you do research on people?"
To which I replied:
"The answer to your question is a resounding yes."
"told" you this?:
"you are telling me you do research on human subjects with no legal requirement of informed consent?"
I mean...back up the assumption train a bit and then rethink your last question.
The amount of inappropriate comments I see regularly on this forum baffles me... 🙁
1. The best age for a moderator would probably be around the 20s or early 30s. Gender of the moderator? Idk, probably male.
2. Look? That has nothing to do with being a moderator. That question was just asking for perverts to post nonsense...
3. A good moderator makes sure posts follow the forum rules/guidelines and generally keeps things civil.
4. A good moderator does not play favorites or judge conflicts through seniority (aka whichever poster has been there longer is right).
5. Me? A mod? Heck no! I don't have the patience...
this thread is funny.

Dadude- no, once again you are being ridiculously obscure with your answers. That in itself is merely annoying to any sense of continuity in the thread, but moreover your accusation of trolling is false and inappropriate. This is not the first time you have done that. It will have to be a formal warning if you keep being this way.
Anyway, this thread is clearly serving no good purpose, so closed.
