They would, but the problem is he uses them very infrequently. Also, he never took enough time to explore his powers the way Spawn did. If he did, he'd probably be able to take Spawn down.

I thought he didn't "blast" stuff more cause he found it boring? Maybe this will be addressed in the new series.
