Yawn, you are reaching for straws that are not there. Mags has been able to shape energy fields exactly as he likes since his earliest apperance. His superhuman stats are well known. Even against the Phoenix his personal field was mentioned as I recall.

Why are you so sure the Pheromones would work? Superman is almost always immune to that kind of thing, unless there's Kryptonite involved.
