If it was just regular blast I could understand stand, but a sub atomic manipulator really isn't a level weapon its, if you don't have a shield on your done type weapons lol. DD could withstand the weapon if he had a basic shield on really. This isn't to down Hulk or anything but they way they made the fight was kinda stupid, DD didn't even try to jump use his agility just kinda did little leaps to. I just felt like this fight was so off, they tried to hard and kinda failed in this one, the attack in the first comic against AIM where he took that blast that was suppose to do something to adamantium made perfect sense, this just sounded completely stupid all together.
I don't really see why you have complaints against DD's performance, he kept his distance, and was able to keep going despite the ringing in his ears everytime he fired the gun.
Hulk shows some superspeed and saves SHIELD Agents by stopping a speeding plane "dead" with one arm, despite it appearing out of thin air and being only several feet away from them:

(The humans still seem to be stuck in the same position in the bottom panel when Hulk speeds past them as they were in the panel above)

and still saves Matts life by stopping a skyscraper from collapsing on him.
It should also be noted Hulk was blind during the fight.
mmm So was Daredevil ...

So all molecular manipulation is the same? Smh. Obviously there are going to be scales to everything in the Marvel Universe and this gun was described as Thor-level more than once. Plus I doubt you will find many characters below the herald tier who have substantial molecular manipulation abilities either.
Why is the fight dumb? The book is titled "Indestructible" Hulk in case you missed that. So far that's basically all Waid has done, showcase Hulk's durability and surviving attacks that would have killed others.I don't really see why you have complaints against DD's performance, he kept his distance, and was able to keep going despite the ringing in his ears everytime he fired the gun.
Again it didn't make any sense, I'm not downing the comic or saying they should put feats for Hulk, but it was just pretty stupid. Thor can't control his molecules either, the only people who should be resistant to this type of this are those who can control there molecules or this either mean Hulk is invulnerable(which he isn't and wouldn't need a healing factor) or if you just durable you can resist a weapon like this. Had he grown back a body part that was hit by it that would make more sense by his character but it provides no explanation for resisting a thor level weapon lol.
