But yes, suggesting a battle that happens somewhat off panel is the same as people pointing out Ultraman has no speed feats to suggest he's capable of blitzing Thanos.

So we are using Thanos only from his last encounter with Thor and not any of his previous appearances? So what about Thor's high end showings? Do they count as far as the power level he would be operating at?

The angle both where Thor speaks and then where he proceeds to palm Mjolnir tells that Thor was over him. Which, is hardly anything to scoff at considering he took a diving hammer slam and got up on the next page.

Thanos was in a crouched pose almost the entire comic, and everytime they met Thor was higher than Thanos.

Even when he was powering up one knee was almost on the ground.

I've seen nothing to suggest that Thor wins. Thanos is just on a different level.

Quite frankly that hit probably should have plowed him on the other side of the planet due to the force alone. If that hit Superman he would have been floating by Venus... Or whatever planet was on the opposite side of Earth at the time

On stopping a charged Mjolnir strike with your bare hand: am I the only one who thinks this is a feat that's become cheapened over the years?

thanos makes no indication of that hammer blow even hurting, even if it did move him.

We see that the blow significantly affected Thanos. We also know that shit hurt because Thanos decided to catch Mjolnir on the next swing instead of beg for more (like he did the lightning).
I would wager about 10 of those blows would seriously have Thanos ****ed up.
