Flight

Didn't see a thread for this, meh. Denzel Washington is one of my all-time favorite actors and when I saw the trailer for this earlier this summer I knew I'd be viewing upon release. Boy was this a fun ride. The acting is superb all across the board. Much better than that Cloud Atlas flick. Anybody else see this?

Ok...so apart from the "act of God" claim...I think it's stretching belief that even Denzel can fly a commercial jet airliner UPSIDE DOWN to survive a crash landing.

I mean Denzel's no John McClane...

My dad has a man-crush on Denzel. When they reviewed Flight in our local paper, I alerted him.

He'll be seeing it. It sounds like an interesting premise.

Definitely one I've been interested in from the first previews. Denzel, Goodman, Cheedle, H. Macy: it's looking good.

Snakes is more credible than something that defies aerodynamic physics.

Oh my God. It's almost as if it was a fictional movie or something.

That's why the genre of the film is under "Drama" & not "Far Fetched Fantasy."

But yeah the next time I'm on a commercial airline, I'll insist the pilot fly it UPSIDE DOWN.
