I have tried lucid dreaming, but failed miserably. Any tips or advice?
There are various induction techniques, but perhaps the most potent is to remind yourself, as often as you can, to be 'lucid' while awake (examples: "Where am I right now?" "Am I awake or dreaming? How do I know?"😉. If we spend most of our daylight hours on 'autopilot', how can we be any more aware while dreaming?
The better you get at remembering to be self-aware while awake, the more likely this will carry over into your dream life. Stengthen the reminder, make it a habit. And be patient. This takes time. Just practice, practice, practice.
Also, have some simple agenda ready (eg, 'TK practice'😉, so that when lucidity happens, you're not standing around thinking, "Well, now what do I do?" As it is, chances are when lucid awareness comes, you're gonna be so blown away by it, it'll last just a few seconds.
Just keep practicing. 🙂

lol.He can have his lesbians.
My universe is quantum linked to my very being, and grants me powers irl. I can have any woman I want. My lesbian stick figure harem would exist solely to amuse me.

I would draw a world that is tied directly to my life force in our universe, and I would create events that, through some sort of quantum entanglement, granted me powers in our world.Sorry, obvious loophole. I'll be quiet now.
Realistically, if I had that kind of power, it would be impossible to write negative stories, which would be willfully bringing suffering to them. I'd create a utopia. No fighting, nothing. Probably a lot of beer hall stories a la Valhalla.

Is anything possible in lucid dreaming?

Is anything possible in lucid dreaming?
Dreaming is our perception of the unconscious mind at work. It's the brain organizing information from systems throughout the body, including itself. This is important stuff. It needs to be done.
It's been my experience that if you try and 'commandeer' the dream, there's a response: you lose lucidity or wake up. My best results have come from working with the dream. If you go with the flow, you get to play along the way.
I lucid dreamed once in my life. I was in a department store and realized I was dreaming. So I made myself Spider-Man and swung around until I woke up. It was awesome.

Then you'll be making the same mistake which that ultra-powerful AI transhumanist singularity did in "The Metamorphosis of Prime Intellect" .
Good story bro.
Wanna give me the cliff's notes? If it doesn't involve lesbians, I'm probably not reading it.

ah, makes sense. How amazing would it be if you had full control over your dreams?
tbh, I like having the dream as 'another player'. Keeps me guessing and challenged.

I don't recall but there is one chapter involving a bit of hardcore lesbian torture pornfest. Essentially that particular scene apparently resulted in Prime Intellect becoming somewhat unhinged as it was reaching the limits of what amount of bending of Asimov's First Law could be allowed.
