Adam Warlock vs. John Constantine

Most are of the opinion that Constantine's prep/planning feats revolve around his cunning and manipulative nature more so than his overt intellect (he's definitely not stupid, either). How would John fair against Warlock, likewise an incredibly cunning and sharp foe?

Let's say there's a six month period for the two of them to work with.

1.) Barring omnipotent artifacts/plot devices (ie. Infinity Gauntlet)
2.) Everything goes.

Realistically, Warlock doesn't have "of his own machinations" prep feats. He's smart psychologically, and tactically in combat. A prep wizard he is not, however. Either scenario favors Constantine, though he'd of course be trying to close the initial power gap.
