Let me share Onepunch Man with you

Boros is, without a doubt, stronger than every prior villain combined!

it definitely is. shame these higher numbered heroes weren't around when the sea king showed up.

Yea, he was kinda sudden and didn't have too much deployed against him (though two S-class heroes is a significant force, even if it was only the two weakest of the S!).

There's no doubt he'd be stopped eventually, but how much damage first would be the question.

Hmmm, idk, Saitama might be holding back to prove a point. He seems like he's leading up to something here.

if that is the case, then it's kinda pointless given his massive power, don't you think?

Fan made anime opening

I think thats stolen from a few places. I've seen the exact same video and song posted back in October.

still, a pretty good song.

wow. new chapter out and still that Boros guy is giving Saitama the best fight so far in the series. that dude is hardcore!

Basically you could stick every prior villain in the series together in front of him, and he'd have killed them all by now!

kill them all several times over, at least! seriously, the fact he has lasted roughly 3-4 chapters of fight time with Saitama is kind of scary.

Did he...just...get punched all the way through the earth and then stopped by hitting the surface of the moon?

Why yes, yes he did. I thought I was imagining it too at first until I read it again.

Someone should point out that this alien has excellent aim with his punch. lol

It looks to me like he was simply kicked upward into the moon...

yeah, Boros has some good aim, assuming that was his intention. if not, then hey he's still strong enough to kick someone out of orbit and into the moon within... half a minute or so? Saitama did hit that moon hard.

and to think I once considered putting Boros in a match against Nanatsu no Taizai on this site. after this chapter, I can forget that idea.

Yea, a foe who can make Saitama serious is not something most shonen characters can face 🙂

well, not really make him serious, but at least use a bit more strength than normal. but yeah, Boros in this chapter proved that he's most likely above verses like Nanatsu no Taizai and others of similar power.

So.

Saitama just jumped from the moon all the way back to earth. Boros survives not just a SECOND punch, but also gets hit another 11 times or so. Holy crap.

Consecutive "normal" punches, to be exact.

A strong punch would obliterate him. His best punch would probably destroy part of the earth.

Does that idea put One Punch man up there with some of post-Crisis Superman's* feats? I believe it does. I'm pretty sure he can punch hard enough to destroy a significant portion of the earth.

Also, Q99 was right about what happened. Saitama did not get punched through the earth. He was punched UP to the moon.

*DC is either reworking or has reworked DC's backstories for most of their characters. Similar to their "Crisis of Infinite Earth's" rework. What are we calling DC's latest rework of their characters? I'm out of touch and out of date with DC comics because I grew up and no longer keep up with them (adult responsibilities n'stuff).

There was a time he punched Wonder Woman from the Sun to the Earth, or dragged the Earth with help from WW and Martian Manhunter, so he's still done bigger, but it's getting closer.

Nu52, since when the relaunch happened it had been hyped as the 'New 52!' and had 52 launch titles, and for awhile at least DC has tried to maintain that number of titles.

The nu52 isn't *nearly* as good as post-crisis, so you aren't missing much (fun fact: There has already been significant retcons). Marvel is waaaay better at the moment.

Thanks for the info. I knew there had to be some sort of name for what DC was doing. And I'm glad I'm not missing out. I was worried about what they would do to Batman's back story which is one of the greatest back-stories in comic book history.
